Welcome

The Coal Dusters is a club in central Illinois dedicated to radio control aviation, as well as RC boats and RC cars. Our members range from some of the most experienced flyers to the nervous rookie pilot. Being a small club means that even on a nice Saturday morning there is plenty of room on the flight line.

The club is filled with friendly people, who are always willing to help ensure that your next successful flight ends in a successful landing.

If you are interested in more information about RC flying, the flight school section offers tips to help you get started. You can take a virtual tour of our field in the Tour section. Should you have questions about joining the Coal Dusters, our membership page will have all the answers you need.

Our Forum is a great place to meet people in the club, or in the hobby in general. It's open to the public so feel free to join today. As the forum expands new topics will be added to accomodate different areas of RC.

Our field is located just south of the quiet village of White City, IL. Kostich Park is the perfect place to enjoy the hobby.
The Flight School Section is a page dedicated to topics ranging from basic plane balancing, and setup, to more advanced tips that people have picked up along the way.
